Halloween Fact

Of all canned fruits and vegetables, pumpkin is the best for vitamin A. Just a 1/2 a cup of this autumn squash has more than 3 times the recommended daily requirement.

  1. Hello Lydia I like this picture it made me laugh. When my mother was alive she would prepare a dish that they make with zuccinni squash but she used young green pumpkins I believe it was called calavacitas with green diced jalapenos onions and a few other vegatables it was very good. But spicy forgive my memory. Have a wonderful day today.

    It sounds delicious!!!!!!! I've never heard of you mom's recipe. I love eating pumpkin. I'll often buy small sugar pumpkins and bake them like a squash. When they're finished I'll put some sea salt, pepper, nutmeg and cinnamon on it and eat it.I love pumpkins made this way!
