Calm and compassion are so precious. Make sure not to lose them through intoxication.

  2. Hello Eva, He was an amazing artist. The way he portrayed women was so beautiful. I use to have another one of his prints that I'll be posting along with another quote tomorrow. It's of a mermaid. Me and my hubby had it hanging above our antique fireplace in our first apartment that we rented in the city. It was a very charming old brick victorian house, with high cielings, hardwoods and a clawfoot bathtub. The painting fit quite well in there.

  4. POPPIES! THANK YOU! I have needed to remain calm lately and have given into some self-absorbed and self-deprecating anxieties...so I needed this. I read the Tao Te Ching everyday and it helps too! Thanks for the inspiration. I love how we all have different ways of inspiring each other. Glad to see there are thinkers out there! And you are one big one! (And talented).

  5. Hello Alison, Thank you. I'm happy you enjoy these quotes. I like it when others can come and read warming messages, when I'm not posting recipes or art. have a great day!

Hello Bella paradiso, Thank you. I'm happy you like the poppies I just placed on my blog. I thought the blue skies would look calm and welcoming to anyone who visits my blog.
I should check out the "Tao Tee Ching" myself. I'm sure it has many deep meaningful quotes. We do have different ways of inspiring each other, which is so great. I also wanted to thank you for the kind complements you gave me. You are also very talented. I love your artwork! Have a great day.

How often is it not allowed in our lives.

    We must be aware!
