Abstract Acrylic Painting

This is an abstract I did about 8 years ago. Though I never named this painting, It is a part of "my feelings" series. This was done in acrylics. It was stored in my Father's storage unit for a few years and while cleaning out his unit a few weeks ago, I came across this piece. It's now hanging in my living room until I become tired of it.

  2. This is a lovely abstract, Lydia. I admire the sun in the middle, and the eye looking at us. The colors are wonderful, too.

  3. Hello oswegan, Thank you. I think it has a Picasso feel to it also.

Hello Eva, Thank you. For some reason I felt the need to place a very light and bright color in the middle of this piece, representing the solar plexus area of our chakras.

  4. I like it, it is rather psychedelic. It is staring at me.

Do you have any progress in your garden?

We did eat out in our garden yesterday.

  6. Hello Eric,
Thank you! Yes, my spring bulbs such as my daffodils are in bloom right now. My maglolia trees are starting to bloom and all of my lilac bushes are forming little flowers so they can be in full bloom when May gets here. I've purchased most of my vegetable seeds. I've started some herbs indoors and I'm now in the process of hardening them off. Now all I have to do is buy my onion sets and a few vegetable plants, but I won't do that til the end of May. How nice! You ate out of your garden. Did you have fresh lettuce? I cant wait to plant my lettuce. I have six different varieties to plant this year. I plant lettuce all summer long, so I have fresh lettuce right into autumn.

  7. Hello Jamerson,
Thank you so much. It's a very bright painting. I have to get over and read everyone's blogs soon. I've been so busy with home, that I've not been on the computer as much as I would like. Have a wonderful day!
