Queen Cleopatra once had a whole lake scattered with rose petals to impress her guests. When she set the scene in which to woo Marc Antony, she had an entire floor covered with rose petals up to twelve inches deep over which a net was stretched. To reach her rose strewn lonue, he had to pick his way over this heavenly scented mattress of petals. The effect, alas, has not been recorded by history.

  3. What an extravagant lady, Queen Cloepatra of Egypt, considering the cost of roses today.

But she probably did not have to count her pennies, did she ?

Blessings to you and your family, dear Lydia

    I"M BORED TOO!!!!!!!
I've never been so bored with the same old situations that continue to take place like a broken record.
Life can get very boring, especially if you can't shake situations that refuse to go away in your life!
I hope life gets more interesting and exciting for you. Til then you can visit the circus to watch the clowns, the elephants, and all the other people and animals perform tricks LOL!!!!!!
Thank's so much for visiting my blog and commenting.
I will recheck your blog periodically to see if you've updated it.
