Starfish running With a Seashell

Here is another drawing I did in 1998. I don't know how I thought up this composition. While creating this drawing I just went with the flow and this was the end result. As you can see by the fold in the upper left hand corner, this drawing has been sitting between a bunch books for a very long time.

  1. This starfish traveling with the shell makes me think of the little hermit crabs that carry shells about every place they go!
I haven't been reading blogs as much as I like to lately, so had fun catching up on your posts.
I can hardly wait to share your asparagus sauce with my son. He's a great cook and we share a love of asparagus..
I enjoyed finding out more about you in your meme:)

1998 must have been one of your most creative years. Will 2008 be another one of those special years?

  5. Linda- Thank you very much. I go through times when I don't get to visit blogs as often too. I'm glad you had fun reading some of my posts. I'm sure you and your son will really enjoy this asparagus dish.

Eva- Hello and thank you so much. Your very right, 1998 was indeed my most creative year yet. Many of the art I'm displaying on my blog was done in 1998. I'm really hoping that 2008 will be another very creative and inspirational year for me, just as 1998 was.

Bella paradiso- Thank you so much. I'm sure there are unique things in your artwork that others can't achieve in their work. Thank you for letting me add you to my blog list. Yes, I would love it if you did the same for me. thank you!

Dave- Hello and thank you so much. I try to keep my mind creative. At times I get myself into a rut, where everything I try to do creatively turns to mush. I know this is when I need to step back and take a break. There are other times where I can't stop creating art. 1998 was one of those years.

  6. I find your art fascinating and beautiful, you are talented.

I have an artistic son. You can see his drawings in my blog. His motives are kind of weird. Dragons and such things.

I will be very proud if you add me to your bloglist.

    Hasta la vista
