This was my first watercolor. The background was done with my fingers and not a brush. While painting this composition, I wanted to try and get a bit of an oriental feel from it. My First Watercolor "The Lotus"
This was my first watercolor. The background was done with my fingers and not a brush. While painting this composition, I wanted to try and get a bit of an oriental feel from it. The lotus flower is beautiful, and the combination of pink and red shades striking.
