Oh!-Fruit loved of boyhood!-The old days recalling,
When wood-grapes were purpling and brown nuts were falling!
When wild, ugly faces we carved in it's skin,
Glaring out through the dark with a candle within!

The real November spirit: witchy.

Hello Olivia,
ReplyDeleteThank you! I got the photo from wikipedia.
Wishing you a great day!!!!!!!!
Lydia
It has been another rainy day here,
ReplyDeleteLydia. I did not even go outside.
Chou-Chou went out and came back
home all wet. I had to dry his fur
and paws with a towel so he would
not leave marks on the floor.
Wishing you a good evening,
Olivia

Hello, dear Lydia,
ReplyDeleteit is rainy here, but not really cold.
I see that you have chosen a new
background for your blog, too:
the leaves- arabesques in golden
beige tones look pretty.
Wishing you a good start into this
first week of November,
Olivia
