Fried Green Tomatoes



Ingredients;

6 medium sized green tomatoes
Extra virgin olive oil
Sea salt and pepper to taste
In a large frying pan cover bottom of pan with olive oil. Heat oil then add sliced tomates to the pan. cook over medium heat. Once one side of tomato starts to soften and brown, flip over and cook on the other side Season with sea salt and pepper.
Fried green tomatoes taste great on sandwiches.

  3. Hello Olivia,
    These are unripened tomaotoes. When the nights get cooler the tomatoes don't ripen to red, so I pick them and fry them. They taste great in sandwiches and salads.I do grow yellow tomatoes always.

    I hope all is well with you too. I was on a break for a long time.
    I have been doing well. I've been Harvesting the many veggies I got from my garden this summer and storing and drying herbs for winter.
