Cherries

Cherries are a good source of anthocyanins, a group of flavoniods thought to protect against cancer and improve heart and brain function. Cherries contain 3 grams of fiber and are only 87 calories a cup.
Always look for plump, bright and shiny cherries, with bright green stems. Store them unwashed and with stems attached. Place them in a bowl and refrigerate for up to a week.

  4. Hello margie
I want to buy cherries but they're too expensive at the grocery store. I usually visit farms with my kids in the summer and pick our own. It's fun.
I also planted a dwarf cherry tree last month as well as 2 apple trees and they are doing great.
I'm glad you like my blog! I also enjoy reading your blog. Your writing is so pretty. Have a great weekend
