Being Outdoors

Researchers have discovered that spending more time in nature gives us sharper minds and fewer sick days.
Just a few minutes of outdoor exercise such as gardening, can boost a person's mood and self esteem.
Research also shows that people who live near gardens, or parks are less likely to get sick as often. They're also more satisfied with their home, job and life in general.

It's the most gorgeous evening here and I'm just about to go sit on the patio and enjoy the cooling breeze!

  2. Hello Margie,
Your going to enjoy your yard this evening! That's wonderful! It's so nice to just relax in our outdoor rooms.
I have to admit I should brave the cold a bit better than I do in the winter, because it's very healthy to be outdoors year round.
Your dog must love going to the park. My dog is outside all the time in the summer. She loves it!
Walking is one of the best forms of exercise we can do and even better to be able to exercise and enjoy the scenery!
Wishing you a wonderful and relaxing evening on your patio,
    Lydia
