Caring for Rosebushes

It's almost time to get the gardening gloves on and enjoy the awakening of our rosebushes that have been asleep all winter long.
One great tip for keeping roses healthy this upcoming season is to take a banana peel and flatten it. Once flattened, bury it  under one inch of soil at the base of each rosebush.
The peel's potassium feeds the plant and helps it resist disease.

    1. Hi Michael,
I'm glad your family is going to try this!
I have to wait til at least mid may, because of the cold and snowy weather here.
