Black cats in the South of France are known as "matogots" or "magician cats". It is believed that good luck comes to the owners who treat them with respect and feed them well.

  1. Good evening, dear Lydia,

I do not have a black cat here

    in the south of France.

My little Chou-Chou is a grey tiger,

but I am sure he brings me luck

    anyhow.

    Blessings

  3. Hello Olivia,
I am sure Chou-chou does bring you good luck. We are also lucky when we can own a cat. They make great pets! Cat's have always been a fascination to humans.
    Wishing you a great day!
I look forward to catching up on your posts!
