  1. Bonjour Lydia,

I am glad you are back. I missed your friendly comments on my blog and your interesting posts here.

Wonderful, this new painting ! I love the sun on blue background. It is done in the same technique as the "hearts" series, right ?

Just great ! You really used your time offline well.

    Blessings and cheers
    Olivia

  5. How beautiful those roses are, Lydia. You really have a green thumb.

I did not even think of Summer Solstice, it is cool here and has been raining the last days.

Wishing you a good Summer Solstice, too.

    Cheers and blessings

  7. The weather changes quickly here, Lydia. Today the sun is strong.
I have the window shutters half shut. The French call it "à l'espagnolette" the "Spanish way". LOL

    Have a great day,

  9. I keep cool, Lydia.
I do not expose myself to the sun, because it gives me blisters.

Wishing you a wonderful day in your garden,
    Olivia

  10. hello Olivia,
That's smart to protect your skin! The sunshine is pretty and it feels good to be out in it, but protection with sunscreen is very smart.
I wear a 60 on my face daily and when out gardening or just sitting there, I wear a wide rimmed straw hat. I wear a 50 on the rest of my body.
it's better to be safe than sorry later on.
    Have a great day!
