My Apricot Tree Is Exploding With Apricots!!!!!!!!!!

Today while planting sunflowers in my front landscape, I decided to walk over and take a look at my two apricot trees. To my surprise they have exploded with tons of apricots. I'll be able to harvest so many of them once they ripen.
What a difference from last summer, I only had four apricots and this year there are too many to even count.
I have to find some good recipes, so I don't get tired of eating them the same way.

  4. Hi Jamerson,
I want to buy more apricot trees along with some peach trees and plant them all along the side of my house, from front to the back of my property.
I love growing my own food. I've never really had many fruit trees, cause I've heard they get pests easy, but I've had great luck with my apricot trees so far. I think peach trees are also hardy, that's why I'm choosing only to plant these two fruits.
Wishing you a great day ahead!

  5. Hello Jules,
    Good for you Jules!
Good luck with your veggie garden! I'm sure it will do great where you are. It's so nice when you can eat the veggies you grew yourself, no matter how small your garden is.
I look forward to making apricot jam. I have to find a recipe, because I've never made jam before.
Wishing you a very pleasant day,
    Lydia

  6. Hello Alison,
Apricots are delicious! They're not big. They are petite fruits. They're sweet, but not too sweet.
They can be used in chunteys, as spreads, eaten raw and used for jam.
I usually eat them raw, but this year since I have a lot of them ripening on my tree, I will find a good jam recipe and make chutney too.
    Have a great day!
    Lydia
