ReplyDeleteI have to purchase some potpourris this winter. What I like to do is dry out my lavendar blooms and put them in my potpourri burner. This makes the house smell of sweet lavendar.

Good Morning Lydia, I love potpourris. I usually try to keep some around during the winter when we have to keep the house shut up.
ReplyDeleteHow perfect. I arrive on a day you're discussing roses and potpourri. You won't believe this, but because I have so many roses, I have tons and tons of potpourri. I've actually stopped collecting pedals because I just put a 20 gallons bucket of potpourris on the compost pile. No one to give it to. :( And still have more!

ReplyDeleteUnfortunately I don't have any jasmine in my yard. I do plan on getting a jasmine bush one day. My mom use to have a huge jasmine bush in her backyard. I remember picking bouquets of them to bring back to my house while they were in bloom. They were so beautiful!
