January 2013 is is just around the corner. This means that it's time to look at my new gardening catalogs and start planning for my 2013 vegetable garden.
February will be the month to start seeds indoors.
Even though I'm still enjoying my preserved tomatoes, peach jam, beans, greens and minestrone,  I'M SO MISSING MY VEGGIE GARDEN!!!!!!!

  4. Hi Michael,
My mom also use to preserve red peppers. I wish I was successful at growing sweet red peppers. I usually buy them at the public market during the summer, so I can make roasted peppers.
My neighbor is still selling broccoli and cauliflower at his veggie stand. I picked up some broccoli from his roadstand after work early this afternoon. I'm going to make broccoli and macaroni tomorrow night.
I am so looking forward to spring!
    Have a nice afternoon!
