Our Burm In Autumn

A few years ago I had a burm put in my front yard, so I could create a natural privacy screen between my front yard and the passing pedestrians and cars that go by. It's grown so much since then and is most definitely doing well as an attractive barrier.
(These are the burning bushes planted on the burm.) There are bushes, roses and grasses planted on this burm. Now is the prettiest time to admire them all. The Burning bushes are one of my favorites, with their beautiful bright autumn colors. Right now the grasses have grown so high, that there pom poms dance back and forth in the wind all day and night. The roses have turned to orange hips now, but during the summer they bloom with yellow, red and white roses.

    Hello Retroartist,
Welcome to my blog! Thank you so much. How interesting that your family had some of the same types of bushes in England. I'm sure your yard was very pretty and colorful when you were in England.
Wishing you a very pleasant evening.

  9. How come your berm looks like a garden and my berm looks like a big pile of dirt? Life's not fair.

  10. Your front "burm" looks lovely... we too have two burning bushes, one in the front of the house and one in our backyard, and they are lovely during this time of year... pretty soon not one leave will be on them... winter is approaching faster than I'd like... :)

    Have a lovely day, Lydia

  13. Hello Debbie, Thank you! This is the prettiest time of year for burning bushes.
I love admiring them especially while the sun is shining on them.
    Have a great day!

    Hello Baba doodlious,
    Thank you!
I'm sure your burm looks beautiful! We mulch the heck out of ours. This seems to keep the weeds down.
    Have a great day!

    Hello Cielo,

    Have a pleasant afternoon.
