Starting Marigolds and Lavender Indoors

This week's perfect to start seed indoors, for outside planting later on.
Looks like I'll be starting both margolds and lavender in peat pots this week.
I love planting them along with sunflowers in my veggie garden. These blooms attract honeybees, butterflies and other beneficial insects to the garden.

  3. Hello Deeps,
I will make sure to post pics of the plants on my blog. Im getting so excited that veggie gardening and planting will begin in a few months. I plant a good sized veggie garden every year and grow fruits as well.
    Have a great day!

Thank you! I've begun gathering my seeds to start indoors. They're all favored by honebees and butterflies.

  5. Very cool. BTW, Lydia, I just picked up some Whole Dried Blueberries from Kirkland. These are what I put in the freezer for a snack. Thought about you as I was putting them away and wanted to drop a quick line while it was on my mind. All best! :)

  6. Hi Michael,
    Sounds Delicious!
I just got a half a case of fresh juicy grapefruit from Florida(20), So I have been snacking on them and putting them in my salads for a fresh twist.
I am also still enjoying frozen fruit in my shakes.
Have a great evening and enjoy your blueberries!
