Hello Eva, Thank you. Your very right about how feelings and emotions can spill into a composition and turn out very different from the way your feelings are inside. I intend on doing an update painting on my life. It will be quite interesting for me to see how it turns out. I am so happy that you will show my artwork on your blog. I feel honored and I want to thank you very much! I'm looking forword to reading your future posts! Have a wonderful saturday.
That is a great painting with so many facets. It reminds me of one of the quilts my mother made recently....kind of an abstract interpretation of her life. I look forward to seeing the update as well!
Hello Amber, Thank you. WOW! I'm sure the quilt your mother made in very interesting. I hope to paint the second part of this by next year. Hopefully I'll get around to it.

Hello Retroartist, Thanks so much for stopping by my blog and commenting on my oil painting. Yes, this painting holds many stories within it. This was something I really tried hard to bring out. Hopefully I can get started on the sequel very soon, I hope you continue to visit often. Have a wonderful day!

I think you must have had a very interesting life 10 years ago, if your painting is anything to go by. It is very like some of Picasso's works, in my opinion.
Your oil painting is a beautiful way of dealing with your life.
ReplyDeleteEven bad events have turned into art. That's wonderful.
I enjoy seeing your artwork and will show some of it on my blog with your kind permission, starting on the first of April.
