Stawberry picking will be here in a couple of weeks.
I've found a quick recipe for strawberry jam in my "Whole living magazine". I can't wait to try it.
Here it is.
Heat 1 lb hulled strawberries(cut into 1/2 inch pieces) and 1/2 cup sugar in medium sauce pan, over medium heat. Cook, stirring until bubbling and thickened, 10 to 15 minutes. Transfer to a glass jar and let cool completely.
Store in refrigerator for up to a week

I have never made jam, so this recipe is great to start with.
