The Treasure Party

Today is Cielo's "Treasure Party." One of my favorite treasures are my teapots. They are both antique and non vintage. I inherited many of them from my late mother. Others I received as gifts. These are photos of some of my treasured teapots. To view the treasures of others, go and visit Cielo's blog. Just go to "my favorite blogs" list on my side bar and click on "House in the Roses".

  3. Good afternoon, dear Lydia,

I love to drink tea and look at beautiful teapots. Yours are wonderful, one more beautiful than the other. If I had to choose my favourites, I would say:

    - No. 2:
exotic and refined, the colour bronw being rather unusual for a teapot

    - No. 5:
playful and sweet, the ladybugs and butterflies obviously like your harmonious home

    - No. 9:
elegant and ladylike, the white rose looking - oh - so exquisite

I am sure that you cherish these collector's items, especially since you inherited many of them from your mother.

Thank you for sharing your collection with us,
    Eva

  5. Gorgeous photos. Do you make yourself a pot of tea each morning? My husband love real tea poured from a china teapot.

Hello Wendy, Thank you! They do take up so much space. I've had to place some behind the other because I have no room for them all. I keep them in these two side glass kitchen cupboards I have, along with a collection of antique victorian wine glasses I inherited.
    Wishing you a wonderful day,
    Lydia
