Alanis Morissette (Simple Together)
Alanis Morissette is one of my favorite musicians and I must say the song in this video is one of my favorites too.
I've been wanting my hubby to burn this song and a few others from Alanis. I really have to start getting on him about it, so I can have a nice little CD collection in my car. I get sooooo tired of listening to the radio all the time. It seems like they keep repeating the same ten songs over and over again, which becomes extremely annoying.
The song in this clip above is just so beautiful. Alanis's words and her music comes right from her soul. In my opinion she's one of the most talented musicians out there.

I agree with you about the radio, same o same o!! My daughter loves Alanis, I bet she has this song. I listen to her CD's sometimes.

ReplyDeleteMy favourite singer is Dalida, she is dead already. She was an Italian-Egyptian singer living in Paris. Her voice is dark and smokey.

ReplyDeleteIt really does get so tiring to hear the same songs. I start out liking a song when it first comes out, until I can't even stand to here it anymore, cause its so over played.
I'm sure your daughter does have this song on her CD. I use to have this tape when it first came out in the mid 90's.

I've never heard of Dalida.

I agree too about the radio I get so tried of listen to the same old things sometimes I just turn it off.

ReplyDeleteI rarely listen to the radio anymore. There's a place here neaby where I can get all my fave CD's at a discount. They have the latest as well as the classics. Right now, I'm listening to Chris Botti.

ReplyDeleteI find myself turning off both the radio and t.v. these days. I use to enjoy watching good movies and interesting documentaries on t.v..
Now every channel is being filled up with these stupid contests and reality shows, which I find extremely boring and very uninteresting. I could care less who these people on these shows are or what they're doing on t.v..

It sounds so nice that you can get a nice selection of CD's not to far from where you live. I need to build my CD library yet.
