Being part of a team, or engaging in group mentality is not the best route for us to take in life. History as proved this.
Instead, one should always follow their own thoughts and ideas that reflect on their own personal values.
In other words never follow others, but lead yourself.

To be you, you must not be anyone or anything else. To go outside of yourself you must first go inside and follow what your own unique journey.
ReplyDeleteHello Dave,
ReplyDeleteYour so right and your comment here is very wise.
We can never be truly happy when we are trying to be someone we are really not, only because we want to be accepted.
Have a wonderful weekend!
Lydia
Lydia,
ReplyDeleteOnce you follow your own values, you won't betray yourself.
However, there will some situations where working as a team is the best approach...
All the best,
Boris

ReplyDeleteHello Boris,
ReplyDeleteI totally understand that working together as a team at work, or in sports ect... is vital for success.
I'm speaking of other situations such as belonging to some social groups, that can be taken too far and end up being negative instead of positive.
Wishing you a great weekend,
Lydia

Dear Lydia,
ReplyDeleteI admire this brave cat following her instinct - in spite of all the dogs hounding her.
Blessings

Hello Olivia,
ReplyDeleteI love that about this picture too.
It amazes me that most species in the cat family are solitary animals, such as the house cat, cougar, tiger, jaguar and leopard.
While most, if not all dog species are pack animals and travel and hunt in groups.
In life I prefer being solitary rather than running with a pack. This is why cats and tigers have always been my favorite animals, even though I do like dogs also.
Have a great day!
Lydia
