Cleansing Rain


As rain falls on the just and unjust alike, let your heart be untroubled by judgments and let your kindness rain on all.

    Lydia..it's so true, it does rain on the just and unjust, if only we would remember this.

    In scripture, 'rain' sometimes signifies blessing, meaning that sometimes we are blessed even when we don't deserve it.

    I suppose it could be taken another way, though, as in saying that sometimes bad things happen to good people.

    Either way, we should be thankful in all things.

    Thanks for this very thought provoking post..and for the lovely photos, too!

    Even though things
    sometimes workout in the way you've written above, the lord still knows who's deserving of blessings and who isn't.
    I strongly believe those of us who are good and have bad things happen, will be rewarded far greater in the long run, than those who are blessed that don't deserve it.

    Oh I absolutely LOVE rain. The sound of rain, the way it smells before and after the rain, and of course the sight of rain, it's so pretty and romantic :) Lovely pictures, especially the first one

    I am glad to know that u love rain. The flowers smell the best 5 minutes before and after rain. a scientific fact actually. Rain is also considered a blessing from Allah (God) in my religion (Islam)
